Rhythm Garden Music LLC is a growing music therapist-owned private practice providing services to individuals in Greene, Sullivan, Vigo, & Clay counties in Indiana. We believe in meeting the client where they are and in being flexible in the approach we use to help our clients meet their needs. We are an Indiana Medicaid Waiver provider, currently providing both waiver and private pay music therapy services to individuals with a wide range of abilities, primarily those diagnosed with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Other populations we serve are behavioral health (in-patient and group home settings), and early childhood. Rhythm Garden Music is dedicated to increasing access to music therapy services in the local rural communities and plans to continue expanding services into other populations.
We are seeking music therapists who are passionate about the work they do and dedicated to making a positive difference in the communities they serve to help us build our team and increase access to music therapy services in our 4-county area. To be a good fit for this position, the therapist must be able to work independently, possess good time management skills, utilize technology, and complete documentation in a timely manner. This person is expected to build rapport with a variety of clients as well as with each client’s treatment team. Strong therapeutic skills as well as communication and writing skills are a must. Experience with a variety of populations, especially individuals with special needs, is preferred but not required. We provide services in our clinic space, as well as in client homes and other facilities, so some travel is required and compensated at an hourly rate.

Starting Wage: $36,000 to $40,000/year

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalency in Music Therapy
- Music Therapist-Board Certified (MT-BC) at time of start date
- Reliable transportation
- Clean criminal background check
